The District Sales Manager, New York will be an integral part of our Sales team reporting to the Regional Manager and the Vice President of Sales. This role will be responsible for the development of target account lists, promotional activities in those accounts and the implementation of our market strategy at retail accounts. This position will work closely with our key distributors to ensure effective distribution. 


* Embrace and promote the MAD TASTY brand and style

* Develop an in-depth knowledge of the CBD industry, trends and products

* Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that will increase customer loyalty, build distribution growth and increase company profitability

* Regularly call on key accounts in the New York territory to ensure effective distribution

* Develop and maintain sales contacts and partnerships with major customers

* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with distributor sales representatives

* Responsible for providing accurate reports in the form of forecasts, budgets, and sales plans

* Partner with marketing and Sales team on developing local and national initiatives and product launches

* Identify and communicate changes in product category, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends

* Responsible for building and leading a sales team 


* 3-5 years of sales and business development experience, beverage industry preferred

* Knowledge of beverage legal structure, promotion requirements and three tier system preferred

* Demonstrated track record of sales achievement in a hand-on sales environment

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers and brokers; ability to collaborate at all levels

* Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses

* Able to work independently while being a team player

* Flexibility to travel as needed
